An iBooks “Textbook” Photo Book on Vietnam

I’ve been playign with iBooks Author all evening, and it’s fantastic. Definitely some limitations and features I can’t wait to see, but overall this thing is amazing.

I have been working on a photo book as a test, and will continue to release updated versions as I go.

This is a free download — please check it out and let me know what you think, and keep coming back to check for new updates!

You can download the in-progress iBook from the iBooks page.

Congrats on your iBook, do you by any chance know of a comparable one that runs on Windows? I definitely would be able to put together an iBook with the content I have but I don't have an Apple computer.

Cassandra,

Not at the moment. As much as I'd suggest that being an all-Apple workflow, you're unlikely to see a non-Apple version of the software, I'd like to think that Apple wants the iBooks Textbook format to get as big as possible and go beyond the iPad. But, maybe not… the strategy could well be to hope that every university in the world buys iPads for every student ;-)
