This is Not HDR; Hong Kong Under Construction

This was a quick shot through a hotel window as an impossibly warm light punched through the clouds for a brief moment in Hong Kong back in 2008. I know the warmth of the light is due to pollution, but at times, that stuff can actually work in your favor.

This is not an HDR. The only treatment done to this photo is to stretch the levels; it was a little flat, given the haze and the window I was shooting through. Notice the green tinge to the pool of water near the lower right. Interesting stuff.

Pretty colors for a not-so-pretty reason. Oh well, my job is to capture the light, not make excuses for it ;-)
